Thatcher Associates ("we", "us") is a specialist recruitment consultancy operating as a remote-first network, rooted in the UK and the Caribbean and supporting clients worldwide. 02Information we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- Contact details you give us, such as your name, email, phone number and LinkedIn profile.
- Career information you choose to share, including your CV or résumé, work history and the roles you are interested in.
- Partner-enquiry details, such as your specialism, billing history and what you are looking to build.
- Technical information collected automatically when you use our site, such as your IP address, browser type and pages visited (see our Cookie Policy).
03How we use it
We use your information to match candidates with roles, to discuss opportunities with you, to respond to enquiries, to operate and improve our website, and to meet our legal and regulatory obligations. We will never sell your data.
04Our lawful basis
We rely on your consent where you have given it, on our legitimate interests in running a recruitment business, and on the steps necessary to take at your request before entering into a contract. Where we rely on legitimate interests, we balance these against your rights.
05Sharing your information
We only share your details with a prospective employer or client with your knowledge, and with trusted service providers who help us operate (for example, our applicant-tracking and email systems), under written agreements that protect your data. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
06International transfers
As a network operating across several regions, your information may be processed outside your home country. Where it is, we put appropriate safeguards in place so it remains protected to the standard required by applicable law.
07How long we keep it
We keep your information only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out above, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised. If you ask us to remove your details, we will do so unless we are required to retain them.
08Your rights
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, to object to or restrict its use, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, contact privacy@thatcherassociates.com and we will respond promptly.
09Referral and partner links
This website contains referral links to selected partners whose products we use in our own work, such as our applicant-tracking system. If you follow one of these links and go on to sign up, Thatcher Associates may receive a referral benefit, at no additional cost to you. The partner may set a cookie recording the referral, handled under their own privacy and cookie policies; we do not receive your personal data as a result.
