Have you run quick-service or casual dining across more than one brand at once, and kept every one of them to its franchise standard?
The opportunity
Our client is an established Caribbean hospitality group running a large multi-brand food and beverage operation inside one of the region's busiest international airports. Their outlets beyond security include global quick-service, coffee and casual dining brands alongside the group's own concepts, many working from shared kitchens. They are looking for an Assistant General Manager to help run this operation day to day.
This is a role for an operator who enjoys volume and variety. You will move between brands, teams and service peaks set by flight schedules, keeping standards consistent for each franchise partner while controlling cost across the whole operation. Passenger numbers are recovering and the group plans to take its brands beyond the airport, so a capable AGM will find room to progress.
What you will be doing
- Running shifts across several brand outlets, matching staff to flight schedules and passenger flow
- Holding each outlet to its franchise standards for speed, quality, food safety and guest service
- Managing food, beverage and labour cost, stock control and cash handling across shared kitchens
- Recruiting, training and developing supervisors and team members
- Supporting the General Manager with reporting, brand audits and new concept openings, and deputising when needed
What you will need
- Experience as an Assistant General Manager, Restaurant Manager or multi-unit manager in quick-service, casual dining or concession food and beverage
- A track record of managing cost and labour against targets in a high-volume operation
- Confident leadership of large, shift-based teams
- Experience with international franchise brands, or in an airport, stadium, cruise or travel retail setting, would be a real advantage
What is on offer
- A competitive salary, negotiable depending on experience
- Experience across several global brands within one role
- Progression within a growing group
The practical detail
The airport runs early mornings, late evenings, weekends and public holidays, and this role works a shift pattern to match. The role is open to Jamaican nationals, including those living overseas and looking to return home.
