The Opportunity
Working for a well-established consultancy delivering Project Management, Construction Management, Design and Cost Consultancy services across Bermuda. Due to continued growth, we are looking to appoint a Building Surveyor to join our close-knit and highly collaborative team.
About the Role
The successful candidate will work across a diverse project portfolio, supporting the delivery of building surveying and consultancy services from inception through to completion. The role offers genuine variety and exposure across multiple sectors and project types.
Responsibilities will include:
- Delivering Building Surveying consultancy services across a range of projects
- Supporting project delivery, contract administration and construction management activities
- Undertaking inspections, reporting and technical advisory work
- Working closely with clients, consultants and contractors
- Managing multiple projects concurrently
- Assisting with design coordination and project management activities where required
- Contributing to a hands-on, solutions-focused team environment
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a well-rounded and proactive individual who enjoys variety and can operate independently within a relaxed, non-corporate environment.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Degree qualification in Building Surveying or a related discipline
- Approximately 2–10 years’ relevant experience
- Consultancy or project delivery experience
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage workload autonomously and “hit the ground running”
- A practical, adaptable and hands-on approach
- Interest in broadening experience beyond a narrow surveying function
- Comfortable using a variety of software and digital tools
Project Management exposure would be advantageous but is not essential.
