Thatcher Associates is partnering with several leading hospitality, resort, mixed-use, and development organisations across the Caribbean and is seeking experienced Project Engineers to join our network for upcoming opportunities.
These positions will support the delivery of complex construction and development projects, with a particular focus on Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the planning, coordination, and execution of MEP construction activities
• Monitor contractor performance and project progress
• Review technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation
• Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders
• Assist with quality assurance, testing, commissioning, and handover activities
• Support project reporting, budgeting, and programme management
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years' experience in construction, engineering, or project delivery
• Strong MEP construction and installation experience
• Degree, diploma, or recognised engineering qualification suitable for work permit applications
• Experience within hospitality, commercial, mixed-use, infrastructure, or large-scale developments
• Willingness to work on active construction sites
• Caribbean or remote-location experience would be advantageous
