A major organisation within the Bahamian utilities and infrastructure sector is seeking an experienced Warehouse & Procurement Manager to lead its materials, inventory, logistics, and sourcing functions. This role is pivotal to supporting field operations, ensuring supply readiness, implementing ERP-driven workflows, and contributing to large-scale infrastructure modernization across the region.

Key Responsibilities

· Warehouse, Procurement & Vendor Management

· Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storage, distribution, and port-receiving procedures

· Ensure inventory accuracy, cycle counts, documentation, and ERP (Meridian) updates

· Lead procurement efforts: sourcing, vendor evaluation, purchase order management, cost control

· Coordinate logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials to field locations

· Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant warehouse environment

· Supervise and mentor warehouse staff, providing ongoing support and performance oversight

· Monitor vendor performance and negotiate contracts in collaboration with senior leadership

· Track procurement KPIs such as cost savings, lead times, and quality metrics

· ERP Implementation & SOP Development

· Support rollout and improvement of the Meridian ERP system

· Develop and enforce SOPs that standardize warehouse and procurement workflows

· Implement automation solutions such as barcode/RFID scanning

· Train staff on ERP navigation and best practices

· Cross-Functional Collaboration

· Align material availability with field project schedules

· Partner with Finance on budgets, approvals, and cost optimization

· Work closely with Corporate Operations leadership on strategic sourcing

· Leadership, Compliance & Performance Metrics

· Enforce safety, compliance, cargo securement, and risk management protocols

· Track and report KPIs, including inventory accuracy, warehouse efficiency, and order fulfilment

· Provide timely reporting to Senior Leadership to support operational decision-making

· Disaster Preparedness & Storm Response

· Maintain pre- and post-storm warehouse readiness plans

· Ensure rapid mobilization of critical materials following weather events

Qualifications & Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)

· 5+ years of experience in warehouse, procurement, or supply chain management

· Experience in utilities, construction, infrastructure, or heavy industry preferred

· Strong knowledge of inventory systems, vendor relations, port receiving, and procurement compliance

· Experience with ERP systems (Meridian or similar)

· Supervisory experience managing warehouse or logistics teams
