About the role
Our client, a leading property developer in The Bahamas, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team. This is an exceptional opportunity to work on high-profile projects including luxury hotels, residential apartments, marine developments, and leisure schemes in one of the Caribbean's most desirable locations.
The successful candidate will work directly with the developer on both contractor-managed and self-delivered projects, gaining exposure to the full development lifecycle from initial estimates through to project completion.
- Qualification: Degree in Quantity Surveying or related construction discipline
- Experience: 5-10 years of quantity surveying experience, preferably including residential, commercial, or hospitality projects
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in cost management software and MS Office suite
- Adaptability: Proven ability to learn new systems and adapt to different project methodologies
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Flexibility: Willingness to work across multiple project sites and engage with on-site activities
- Driving Licence: Full, clean driving licence required
- Background: Clean criminal record essential for visa and work permit applications
- Status: Single status preferred
