Site Manager – Small Exclusive Caribbean Island
Salary: Between US$100,000 – $120,000 per annum
Benefits: Accommodation provided + annual flights
Working Week: Five and a half days

Thatcher Associates is recruiting on behalf of a respected construction business operating on a small, exclusive island in the Caribbean. We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to support the refurbishment of an established hotel property.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will take responsibility for the daily running of the site, ensuring the refurbishment progresses safely, efficiently and to a high standard. The project involves high-end hotel finishes alongside structural alterations, internal reconfigurations, and general building works.
You will work closely with direct labour teams, specialist subcontractors and the wider design and client team to deliver a well-managed project from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day site operations and maintain progress against programme

Oversee finishing works to a high standard within hotel and luxury environments

Coordinate structural alterations, demolition, and internal reconfigurations

Lead and supervise direct labour and subcontractors

Maintain strict health, safety and environmental compliance

Provide clear, accurate reporting to the Project Manager

Liaise with clients, consultants and authorities as required

Address on-site issues proactively and maintain workflow
Experience Required

Proven experience as a Site Manager on refurbishment or hotel projects

Strong background in both high-end finishes and structural alterations

Able to manage multiple trades and packages simultaneously

Confident leading direct labour teams and subcontractors

Comfortable working in remote or island environments
