Design Coordinator / Senior Design Coordinator

Location: Nassau, Bahamas

Thatcher Associates is partnering with a prestigious developer to deliver a landmark, high-end island hospitality project. We are seeking a Design Coordinator / Senior Design Coordinator to join the team on-site, supporting the Senior Design Manager across all stages of this unique development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate multi-discipline design packages including Architecture, Interior Design, MEP, Structural, Marine, and Landscape
  • Track consultant deliverables, design programmes, and key interfaces
  • Manage drawing registers and document control within a Common Data Environment (Procore)
  • Assist with technical drawing reviews and cross-discipline coordination
  • Support RFI management and construction-stage design clarifications
  • Prepare structured meeting minutes and maintain action trackers
  • Act as a key interface between consultants, contractor teams, and client representatives
  • Contribute to design close-out processes, mock-ups, and as-built documentation
  • Operate as an extension of the Senior Design Manager throughout all project phases

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in design coordination on complex construction or hospitality projects
  • Strong understanding of multi-disciplinary design processes
  • Experience working within a CDE (Procore preferred)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a site-based, fast-paced environment

Salary & Package

  • Salary: US$6,000 – $8,000 per month (tax-free)
