Remote Estimator – Multi-Family Construction (General Contractor)

Are you an Estimator with strong experience in multi-family or apartment construction? We’re recruiting for a Remote Estimator to support a busy General Contractor delivering ground-up and refurbishment projects across the multi-family sector.

This is a flexible, work-from-anywhere role where you’ll stay closely connected through regular project meetings via Teams or Zoom.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Preparing detailed cost estimates for multi-family apartment projects.

• Reviewing architectural plans, structural drawings, and specifications.

• Managing subcontractor pricing, comparisons, and bid levelling.

• Producing quantity take-offs using industry-standard software such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift, ProEst or similar.

• Working with project managers, design teams, and leadership through scheduled online meetings.

• Supporting bid submissions and preconstruction planning remotely.

What We’re Looking For

• Estimating experience with a General Contractor, ideally in multi-family construction.

• Strong technical knowledge of building methods, cost codes, and materials.

• Comfortable working remotely and organising your own workflow.

• Confident using digital tools – estimating software, cloud-based document platforms, Teams/Zoom.

• Excellent communication and the ability to collaborate virtually.
