Project Manager – Infrastructure & Utilities (Caribbean-Based)

A rapidly growing utilities and infrastructure organisation is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee site-specific infrastructure and distribution projects across New Providence. This is a hands-on role responsible for planning, executing, and delivering multiple projects safely, on time, and within budget, while maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships.

This position is ideal for a detail-oriented project professional who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys balancing office-based planning with site engagement, and can coordinate teams, contractors, and vendors toward successful delivery 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage assigned infrastructure projects from planning through completion

  • Oversee scheduling, resource allocation, procurement, subcontractor coordination, and progress tracking

  • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure clear communication throughout the project lifecycle

  • Manage contracts, including change orders, submittals, negotiations, and compliance documentation

  • Monitor project budgets, cost control, reporting accuracy, and profitability

  • Chair and participate in kickoffs, progress meetings, and safety briefings

  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans

  • Ensure adherence to all safety, environmental, and quality standards

  • Support storm response or emergency restoration activities when required

  • Maintain organised project records and ensure timely reporting to management

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related discipline

  • PMP or equivalent certification preferred

  • 4+ years’ experience in project coordination or management, ideally in utilities, construction, or infrastructure

  • Strong understanding of project accounting, scheduling tools (MS Project / Primavera), and reporting processes

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a high-paced operational environment

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and confidence working with clients, contractors, and cross-functional teams
