Thatcher Associates is recruiting on behalf of a leading luxury hospitality business in the Turks & Caicos Islands. We’re looking for a skilled Facilities & Maintenance Supervisor to join their team — someone who takes pride in keeping high-end properties running smoothly, safely, and beautifully.

🔧 The Role

As Facilities & Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll take charge of daily upkeep and repairs across multiple luxury properties. Working closely with the Facilities Manager, house staff, and your maintenance team, you’ll make sure every space is in top condition — ensuring comfort, safety, and satisfaction for guests and owners.

You’ll oversee day-to-day maintenance activities, coordinate small projects, and step in with your own technical know-how when needed.

💡 Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support maintenance staff in daily repair and upkeep tasks

• Carry out and oversee basic maintenance (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting)

• Implement and monitor preventive maintenance schedules

• Keep tools and equipment organized, safe, and ready for use

• Maintain high safety and cleanliness standards across all work areas

• Record daily work completed and assist with maintenance reports

• Report urgent repairs or hazards promptly

• Coordinate small-scale repairs and follow-up tasks

• Be available for occasional after-hours maintenance support

🎓 Skills & Experience

✅ Technical or vocational qualification in maintenance, engineering, or similar
✅ Certifications in Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC or Building Maintenance (advantageous)
✅ 3+ years of hands-on experience, ideally within hospitality or luxury property settings
✅ Proven supervisory or team coordination experience
✅ Familiarity with island property operations
✅ Practical knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, water systems, pools, RO plants, wastewater systems, carpentry, and painting
✅ Ability to read and understand technical manuals, drawings, and schematics
✅ Competent in maintenance tools and software tracking systems
✅ Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
✅ A guest- and owner-focused attitude, with a hands-on approach
