The Opportunity
Our client is a highly regarded luxury developer and contractor delivering exceptional high-end villas, resorts, and branded residences across the Caribbean. Due to a strong project pipeline, they are seeking an experienced Estimator to join their pre-construction team and support the delivery of complex, design-led luxury developments.
This role will suit a commercially astute Estimator with experience in premium residential or hospitality projects, who understands the challenges of remote logistics, international procurement, and island-based construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and cost plans for luxury Caribbean projects
- Analyse architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to produce accurate pricing
- Price high-end finishes, bespoke elements, and specialist subcontract packages
- Engage with local and international suppliers to secure competitive pricing
- Allow for shipping, duties, insurance, storage, and logistics costs
- Support tender submissions, value engineering, and commercial negotiations
- Assess cost risk related to weather, programme, labour availability, and procurement
- Collaborate closely with design teams, consultants, and project managers
About You
- Proven experience as an Estimator on luxury residential, resort, or hospitality projects
- Strong understanding of high-end finishes and bespoke construction
- Experience working on Caribbean, island, or remote-location projects preferred
- Commercially focused with exceptional attention to detail
- Proficient in Excel and estimating software (CostX, PlanSwift, or similar)
- Able to communicate confidently with senior stakeholders and UHNW clients
