Our client is a leading developer and owner of an ultra-luxury destination in the Caribbean is looking to appoint an experienced Director of Projects. This is a rare opportunity to lead the delivery of a world-class hospitality and residential portfolio in one of the region’s most prestigious locations.

The Opportunity

Reporting to senior ownership, the Director of Projects will assume full responsibility for the planning and execution of major capital projects, including new developments, phased expansions, and high-profile renovations. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the long-term physical and experiential vision of the destination.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple concurrent luxury projects, from concept through handover
• Oversee master planning execution, including resorts, branded residences, villas, F&B, wellness, and infrastructure
• Manage and coordinate international architects, designers, engineers, consultants, and contractors
• Ensure projects meet ultra-luxury design, quality, and brand standards while remaining commercially disciplined
• Own project budgets, schedules, procurement strategies, and risk management
• Act as the primary interface between ownership, operators, brand partners, and local authorities
• Navigate complex island logistics, permitting, and environmental considerations
• Build and lead a high-performing internal projects team and external delivery partners

Candidate Profile

• Senior-level project or development leader with 15+ years’ experience delivering luxury hospitality or mixed-use developments
• Proven track record of large-scale, high-end projects ($100M+ preferred) from design through opening
• Prior experience in the Caribbean, island, or remote locations strongly preferred
• Strong design sensibility combined with robust commercial and technical expertise
• Confident operating in owner-driven, entrepreneurial environments
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline
