Nassau, Bahamas  Thatcher Associates is partnering with a leading construction and development business in the Bahamas to appoint an experienced Commercial Manager. This is a senior opportunity to take ownership of the commercial function across a diverse portfolio of high-value projects, from early-stage feasibility through to final delivery.

The Role
Reporting into senior leadership, you will be responsible for driving commercial performance, managing contractual risk, and ensuring robust cost control across multiple projects.
Key responsibilities will include:

Leading pre-construction activities including feasibility, cost planning, and BoQ development

Developing procurement strategies and managing full tender processes

Overseeing project cost control, valuations, and commercial reporting

Managing contracts, subcontracts, variations, and claims

Supporting dispute resolution and risk management strategies
The Candidate
We are seeking a commercially astute professional with a strong track record in construction environments.
You will demonstrate:

Proven experience as a Commercial Manager or Senior Quantity Surveyor

Strong expertise in pre-construction and contract management

Solid experience in procurement and subcontractor management

Excellent financial and commercial acumen

Ability to operate effectively across multiple stakeholders and project phases
Desirable Experience

Experience working on island or remote projects
