Civil Engineering Estimator - USA Remote

Are you an Estimator with experience in civil engineering or infrastructure projects? We’re supporting a contractor involved in roads, earthworks, utilities, drainage, and site development, seeking a Remote Estimator to strengthen their preconstruction team.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Preparing cost estimates for roads, highways, drainage, utilities, earthworks, and site infrastructure.

• Reviewing civil drawings, grading plans, geotechnical reports, and specifications.

• Conducting detailed take-offs using tools such as Agtek, Civil 3D, HCSS HeavyBid, Bluebeam or similar.

• Managing vendor and subcontractor pricing, comparisons, and bid levelling.

• Participating in regular online meetings with project managers and engineers through Teams/Zoom.

• Supporting tender submissions and ensuring accurate cost modelling.

What We’re Looking For

• Civil or infrastructure estimating experience with a contractor.

• Strong understanding of earthworks, utilities, road construction, and heavy civil methods.

• Confident using digital estimation platforms and online communication tools.

• Highly organised, detail-focused, and comfortable working from a remote environment.
