An exclusive beachfront resort in the Dutch Antilles is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Manager to lead and elevate our housekeeping operations to exceptional standards.
The Role:
This pivotal leadership position oversees a comprehensive housekeeping operation. The successful candidate will ensure impeccable standards across all guest accommodations and public areas, maintaining the pristine reputation our discerning guests expect.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team of housekeeping professionals
- Coordinate and oversee externally sourced housekeeping contractors and suppliers
- Implement and maintain rigorous quality control standards
- Manage departmental budgets, inventory, and procurement
- Develop training programs and standard operating procedures
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hospitality industry standards
- Work collaboratively with other departments to enhance overall guest experience
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Proven track record in housekeeping management within luxury hospitality
- Experience managing large, multi-tiered teams (internal and external)
- Assistant Chief Housekeeper or similar senior-level experience strongly preferred
- Exceptional organizational and leadership capabilities
- Strong communication skills in English (additional languages such as Spanish are highly advantageous)
- Meticulous attention to detail with a passion for excellence
- Ability to work in a dynamic, high-volume environment
