An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Assistant Maintenance Manager to join a luxury hospitality operation in the Caribbean.
Working alongside the Engineering Leadership Team, you will play a key role in maintaining resort facilities, guest accommodation, infrastructure, utilities, and back-of-house operations to the highest operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and support a team of maintenance technicians
• Coordinate preventative and reactive maintenance activities
• Oversee HVAC, plumbing, electrical, pool, utility, and mechanical systems
• Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, and contractor activities
• Support budget management and inventory control
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
• Respond to operational and emergency maintenance issues
• Assist with team development, training, and performance management
Requirements:
• Previous experience within hospitality, resort, hotel, residential, or facilities management environments
• Strong technical understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
• Experience supervising maintenance teams
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Hands-on approach with strong problem-solving abilities
